Job Description

The Treasury Cashier is responsible for processing, monitoring, and depositing cash and check collections, as well as releasing payments to suppliers. This role ensures accurate cash handling and proper recording of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accountability reports such as Cash Position, Petty Cash Fund, Bank Reconciliation, and other Treasury reports.
  • Receive cash and check payments from customers and issue Collection Receipts (CR).
  • Coordinate with the Credit & Collections team for all payments, including postdated checks.
  • Deposit cash and check payments collected from customers or suppliers.
  • Release cash or check payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare Cash Disbursement Vouchers (CDV).
  • Conduct daily cash counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare weekly summaries of payment reports.
  • Issue local seals as required.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for Treasury documents.

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of any Business-related course
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Treasury operations

  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in SAP or similar accounting systems

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Basic knowledge of financial and cash handling procedures
