About The Bookkeeping Department

We are an Australian firm supporting small to medium-sized businesses with high-quality bookkeeping, payroll and financial management services. Our team values professionalism, accuracy and strong communication. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our remote team.

About the Role

This is a senior position managing end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple Australian clients. You must be confident working independently, communicating directly with clients, and delivering accurate work within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger, bank, credit card and clearing accounts
  • Process Australian payroll, STP, PAYG, superannuation and leave accruals
  • Prepare and review BAS and IAS
  • Prepare monthly management reports and cashflow summaries
  • Identify issues, provide solutions and communicate proactively with clients
  • Maintain accurate records and support the team as needed
  • Review or guide junior bookkeepers (as required)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 3–4 years of Australian bookkeeping experience
  • Xero experience (at least 2–3 years) including payroll, BAS and bank recs
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Fast, reliable internet connection

Preferred:

  • Experience with Dext, Hubdoc, Deputy or similar apps
  • Experience working with Australian SME clients
  • Prior work with an outsourced accounting/bookkeeping firm

What We Offer

  • ₱70,000 – ₱90,000 per month (depending on experience)
