The Tech Engineer will be maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining network systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT environment. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Network Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

· Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.

· System Monitoring: Regularly monitor network performance and security, implementing improvements as necessary.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps

· Support: Provide technical support to end-users and other team members, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.

· Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals to implement and maintain network security measures and other IT initiatives.

· Training & Development: Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and participate in relevant training sessions and seminars.

· _ Performs other business-related functions and tasks as assigned or required from time to time_

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.

At least 1 year of experience in IT network management or related fields.

Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting.

Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).

Knowledge of network security principles and practices.

Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
