Position Title: Data Warehouse Consultant

Location: Pasig, Metro Manila

Engagement: 6-Month Consultancy

About the Role

  • The Data Warehouse Consultant will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data warehouse and AI-driven solutions. This position is suited for someone with a strong track record of delivering end-to-end data warehouse projects, from architecture to implementation, and who can provide immediate impact within a short timeframe. The role requires working closely with onsite stakeholders to align business requirements with robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of data warehouse development, including architecture design, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into analytics-ready datasets and recommend appropriate architectures, frameworks, and tools for data warehousing and integration.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines while optimizing system performance and ensuring adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards.
  • Oversee migration and consolidation of legacy systems into modern, cloud-based platforms.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation such as data dictionaries, lineage, and process flows.
  • Provide expertise in BI/reporting integration to ensure consistency and scalability of analytics solutions.
  • Deliver actionable insights and quick wins within the initial weeks of engagement.
  • Mentor internal teams to strengthen long-term capabilities and knowledge retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • Solid years of experience in data warehousing, BI, or data engineering, with proven ability to design and deliver warehouses from the ground up.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or similar) and advanced SQL/T-SQL skills, particularly in data modeling and performance optimization.
  • Strong background in ETL/ELT development and scheduling (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory) with exposure to data lakes.
  • Experience integrating data from diverse sources, such as ERP systems, SharePoint, and APIs.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI preferred) and best practices in visualization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, stakeholder engagement capabilities, and ability to deliver under tight timelines.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

Nice-to-Have

  • Certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric, or related platforms.
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Exposure to big data platforms and modern data stack tools.
  • Industry experience in healthcare or distribution.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools or implementation.

Pay: Php120, Php170,000.00 per month
