Responsible for safely transporting executives, staff, and clients to their destinations while maintaining the company vehicle in top condition. Key duties include following a professional schedule, performing regular vehicle inspections and maintenance, planning efficient routes, and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, discretion, and a focus on safety and confidentiality. Core responsibilities

  • Transportation: Safely and punctually transport executives, clients, and staff to various locations, such as meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Vehicle maintenance: Keep the assigned vehicle clean, perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure it is in good running condition. This includes checking fluids, tires, and other safety items, as well as reporting any mechanical issues.
  • Navigation and scheduling: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for trips and maintain a schedule to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Safety and compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic and safety rules, and ensure the vehicle is secure when parked.
  • Communication: Coordinate with executives and office staff to confirm schedules and provide updates on trip status.
  • Errand assistance: Perform related tasks and errands as needed, such as loading and unloading luggage.
  • Record-keeping: Maintain a record of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and costs.

Skills and qualifications

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  • Experience as a personal, corporate, or executive driver is often preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local road networks and navigation systems (like GPS) is crucial.
  • Excellent driving and defensive driving skills are required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with executives and staff.
  • Discretion and integrity to maintain confidentiality.
