Job Description

  • Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers.
  • Conducts investigation of accidents as members of the health and safety committee and submit his separate report and analysis of accidents to the top management.
  • Educate and train employees on safety procedures, emergency protocols, and the use of safety equipment to promote safe work practices.
  • Conducts health and safety inspection as member of the committee.
  • Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors and heads to eliminate the cause of the accident.
  • Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.
  • Responsible for the compliance of all government reports such as DOLE Registration Reports, report for work related accidents, health and safety committee reports, quarterly reports on safety programs and minutes of the meeting, annual work related accidents/illness.
  • Reports any unsafe conditions and practices and recommends or suggests correction or removal of accident hazards.
  • Serves as member of the Health and Safety Committee.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • With BOSH Training/PCO

Required Skill(s):

  • ISO Awareness
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills are essential.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can relate to any levels of the organization
  • Oversee the implementation of the Company's Safety and Health Programs.
