Join Our Team as a Contract Manager – Catering Focus
Are you a highly organized and people-focused leader with a knack for managing large-scale catering services? We're looking for a dedicated Contract Manager to oversee one of our key accounts, ensuring excellence in service delivery, financial performance, and client satisfaction for an operation serving over 500 people daily.
About the Role
This isn't just a management job—it's an opportunity to be the face of our commitment to quality and service. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a significant catering contract. We need a professional who combines sharp commercial acumen with genuine care for people, creating a positive environment for both the client's team and your own staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the catering service operation, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality food and service that meets contractual obligations and client expectations for a large-scale workforce (500+ people).
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships, proactively addressing any issues and seeking opportunities for service enhancement.
- Team Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the on-site team. Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, efficiency, and high morale.
- Financial & Contract Management: Manage the contract's P&L, control costs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all contract terms, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Customer Service Champion: Drive a service-first mentality within the team, drawing on your customer service experience to handle feedback, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons.
What You'll Bring
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success as a Contract Manager or a similar senior management role, specifically within large-scale catering or food service operations (experience managing services for 500+ individuals is a must).
- People-Centric Approach: A track record of excellent team leadership and a genuine care for people, evidenced by strong communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
- Customer Service Expertise: Extensive background in high-level customer service, with the ability to manage complex client needs and maintain high satisfaction rates.
- Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness, excellent financial management skills, and experience managing a budget and P&L.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
