Job Description

  • Assist the truck driver in loading and unloading goods at pickup and delivery points.
  • Ensure items are properly handled, secured, and protected to avoid damage during transport.
  • Help organize, count, and verify cargo based on delivery documents.
  • Guide the driver during parking, reversing, or maneuvering in tight areas.
  • Accompany the driver throughout the assigned trip and support navigation when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cargo area.
  • Assist in completing delivery receipts, trip logs, or acknowledgment forms when required.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Report any issues, damages, or concerns related to cargo or operations.
  • Perform basic labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and stacking goods as part of the delivery process.

Job Qualifications

  • At least High School graduate (or able to read and write).
  • With experience as a delivery/truck helper is an advantage but not required.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and loading heavy items.
  • Willing to travel to different locations and work flexible schedules depending on trip assignments.
  • Honest, hardworking, and dependable.
  • Can work well with a driver and follow instructions properly.
  • Good attitude and able to interact professionally with customers during deliveries.
