About the role

Polystar General Services' is seeking a talented and dedicated Collection Officer to join our team in Paranaque City Metro Manila. As a full-time Collection Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments, improving cash flow, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively follow up with customers to collect overdue payments and resolve any billing disputes
  • Maintain detailed records of customer accounts, payment history, and collection activities
  • Collaborate with the sales and accounting teams to identify and address any credit or collections issues
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recovery of outstanding receivables
  • Provide regular updates and reports on the status of collections to management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations

What we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of experience in credit management, collections, or a related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve payment issues
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and data analysis tools
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable management principles and collections best practices
