About the Role

The Senior Consultant – Sustainability Reporting will report to the Delivery Head of the Consulting Team and collaborate closely with colleagues in the Corporate Sustainability practice.

This role focuses primarily on sustainability and ESG reporting, with exposure to related areas such as energy management, GHG emissions, and environmental management. The consultant will directly engage with clients, lead gap assessments, facilitate workshops and training, analyze data, and prepare sustainability reports. The role also involves managing projects and supervising junior consultants to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management and Execution: Plan, manage, and deliver sustainability-related projects, including setting goals, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Strategic Planning and Collaboration: Develop sustainability strategies and action plans that align with client goals and industry standards.
  • Sustainability Expertise: Provide expert advice on local and international environmental standards and regulations.
  • Implementation Support: Guide clients in implementing sustainability initiatives within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Risk and Opportunity Analysis: Identify sustainability-related risks and opportunities to help clients enhance resilience and competitiveness.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report sustainability and ESG data following frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, CDP, and SASB.
  • Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions and workshops to strengthen client and internal sustainability capabilities.
  • People and Team Management: Mentor and support junior team members to foster growth, collaboration, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sustainability projects, particularly in GRI, TCFD, CDP, or SASB reporting.
  • Experience in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 50001 is an advantage.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and open to learning
  • Comfortable engaging with senior executives and clients
  • Preferred Background: Experience in consulting, auditing, or client servicing roles.
