KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update Business Impact Analysis for Taxation Department
  • Update and Implement Risk Control Self-Assessment procedure for Taxation Department
  • Update Business Continuity Process (BCP) and Call Tree
  • Act as Liaison Officer for compliance team.
  • Coordinates requirements with BIR officers to achieve the desired response on outstanding LOA/TVN issued to the client and its subsidiaries
  • Supervise and manage the collations of supporting documents related to Write-off for the client
  • Ensures timely updating and formulation of Service Level Agreements (SLA) among concerned units to document/formalize the processes with other units.
  • Prepares the Business tax support schedule including distribution schedule for the client and its branches.
  • Update Outsourcing fee Arrangements between the client and its subsidiaries
  • Develops and conducts strategic tax planning and tax compliance review based on current tax rules and regulations to achieve the desired tax position of the client
  • Review contracts referred to by other business units which have tax implications based on the current tax rules and regulations to clarify the applicable taxes to the contract
  • Review Tax bulletins prepared by the Compliance team and ensure that they are aligned with the current tax laws, rules and regulations, memorandums issued by the BIR
  • Supervise the cascading of new Revenue Regulations and Issuance affecting the Bank and its subsidiaries through issuance of Tax Bulletins and conducting tax briefings as necessary to facilitate full compliance.
  • Implements continuous process improvement programs through available technology and methodology to address growth and work efficiency
  • Acts as a back-up for Senior Tax Officers in relation to their functions in case of unavailability of the aforesaid officers

  • Hybrid Arrangement (2-3x Work onsite per week)
  • Location is in Makati
  • The client prefers candidates who can start ASAP or 15 days upon selection
