As a Line Cook, your primary responsibility is to assist in the preparation and execution of quality dishes in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for following recipes, preparing ingredients, and ensuring that all meals meet the established standards of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and assembling various components of dishes.
  • Cooking: Execute cooking tasks as per recipes, ensuring that the quality, taste, and presentation of dishes meet the kitchen standards.
  • Timing and Efficiency: Work in coordination with other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared and served promptly.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food levels and quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain consistency.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper sanitation guidelines. Ensure all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other kitchen staff, including chefs and sous chefs, to coordinate and execute orders efficiently.
  • Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow safety and sanitation procedures, including the proper handling of food, use of kitchen tools, and adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to changes in the menu or kitchen routines, assisting with various tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Has some knowledge of Inventory Management and POS.
  • Undergraduate is acceptable.
  • Willing to be assigned in Manila.
