Your Day-to-Day

  • Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support work processes and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with business units, digital platforms, and delivery teams to provide data management direction for data foundation initiatives and data product development.
  • Analyze current data management processes, practices, and tools; help shape future needs and contribute to designing common information models.
  • Assess data quality concerns in workflow solutions and drive mitigation activities.
  • Advise on appropriate data integration patterns, data modeling, and data quality standards.
  • Maintain and share knowledge of requirements, key data types, definitions, data stores, and data creation processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for delivery teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, and Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with DAX and PowerQuery.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying languages.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Services & Power Platform, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Ability to optimize analytical reports for speed, efficiency, and accessibility.
  • Experience with Python for data wrangling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of data modeling techniques, data fluency, and governance.
  • Knowledge of Finance data and SAP is an advantage.
  • Amenable to work on a 1-year contract, subject to extension.
