Salary: ₱50,000 PHP per month

The Role: Technical Friend (Technical SEO Specialist)

As a Technical Friend, you are the site health expert. You will focus on resolving intricate, technical SEO issues that impact a website's overall performance, crawlability, and indexation. This role is crucial for implementing fixes, verifying audit outputs, and improving critical performance benchmarks like Core Web Vitals.

Location: 20th JMT Corporate Condominium Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Philippines

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Technical Fixes: Resolve page-level and site-wide issues identified in audits, including problems with canonicalization, broken links, meta tags, and header tag structures.
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals: Focus on improving key metrics like LCP, FCP, and CLS to ensure fast page load and smooth user interaction.
  • Structured Data Implementation: Deploy and manage schema markup (JSON-LD) across various page types for better rich snippet performance.
  • CMS Expertise: Implement and QA fixes across popular platforms, including WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow, utilizing built-in tools or necessary plugins.
  • Tool Verification: Use advanced SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Semrush, and Google Search Console to meticulously verify progress and QA every change.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Experience: 2–10 years of proven, hands-on experience in Technical SEO.
  • Deep SEO Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of crawlability, indexation, structured data, and page performance factors.
  • CMS Proficiency: Ability to confidently implement fixes across WordPress, Shopify, and other major CMS platforms.
  • Tool Familiarity: Comfortable using essential technical SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console (GSC), RankMath, and Yoast.
  • Execution Mindset: A strong focus on reliability, task completeness, and independently addressing complex site issues.
  • Communication: Above-average written and verbal English communication skills are required for effective collaboration.

Key Technical Skills (The Tools of the Trade)

  • Core Technical SEO: Mastery of website architecture, sitemaps, , canonicalization, and on-page technical elements (meta tags, schema).
  • Performance Optimization: In-depth knowledge of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, and GTmetrix to drive page speed improvements.
  • Programming & Tooling: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with server-side concepts (e.g., PHP) is a major plus.
  • Analytics: Skilled in using tools like Screaming Frog and DeepCrawl for detailed technical analysis and using data to inform strategy.
