The SEO Specialist will own the end-to-end optimization to drive sustainable, high-quality organic traffic and increase subscription revenue. Initially, this role will inherit an existing strategy, but over time will be expected to evolve and lead SEO strategy across technical, on-page, and off-page pillars.

This is a senior, hands-on role — the successful candidate will set up the SEO infrastructure, execute optimizations, and continuously identify opportunities to improve visibility, rankings, and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and manage technical, on-page, and off-page SEO initiatives across both websites.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities in the supplements and health categories.
  • Optimize site structure, metadata, internal linking, and technical performance to improve crawlability and rankings.
  • Develop and execute backlink acquisition strategies to increase domain authority.
  • Collaborate with in-house content specialists to brief and guide SEO-driven content creation.
  • Work with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented on-site (including structured data, site speed, and mobile optimization).
  • Establish analytics and reporting frameworks (Google Search Console, GA4, etc.) to track performance and provide weekly reports to the Head of E-Commerce.
  • Prepare the business for international SEO expansion within 12–18 months.
  • Stay up to date with algorithm changes, emerging SEO practices, and competitive landscapes.

Key Requirements (Skills & Experience)

  • 5+ years proven experience in SEO for D2C/e-commerce brands, ideally in supplements, nutrition, or health.
  • Expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and off-page link-building strategies.
  • Strong experience with keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping.
  • Ability to independently set up SEO tools and infrastructure (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or equivalents).
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, and tag management.
  • Track record of delivering measurable improvements in organic traffic and rankings.
  • Excellent English communication skills, able to present insights simply and clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and upbeat team player with a growth mindset.

  • SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog (to be set up by role)
  • Looker Studio or similar for reporting dashboards
  • Shopify CMS (with Recharge, Klaviyo, and related integrations)

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
