Treasury Assistant

The Treasury Assistant is responsible for the overall monitoring of cash receipts and disbursements, the safekeeping of accounting documents, and the custody of petty cash and checks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Relevant experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Willing to work on-site in BGC, Taguig

Key Responsibilities:

1) Cash Position Monitoring

  • Prepare deposit slips for payment releases
  • Coordinate with the Billing & Collection Supervisor regarding collection details
  • Update the cash position and maintain passbook records
  • Prepare application forms for foreign currency transactions
  • Monitor post-dated checks (PDCs) and prepare summary reports
  • Send scanned copies of deposit slips to relevant parties and attach originals to vouchers

2) Filing of Accounting Documents

  • Perform daily filing of vouchers
  • Verify the completeness of vouchers and supporting documents
  • Maintain a record of the voucher locations for previous years

3) Custody of Petty Cash and Checks

  • Maintain an accurate petty cash ledger
  • Ensure safekeeping of petty cash and checks in the company vault
  • Monitor petty cash balance and request replenishment as needed
  • Track the inventory of check booklets on hand
  • Conduct weekly cash counts with the accountant and document results using a cash count form

4) Monitoring of Payables

  • Track and monitor payments for utilities, communication expenses, and EasyTrip load balances

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
