Job Overview:

The Cashier/Waiter/Server in the Front of House (FOH) is responsible for directly interacting with restaurant guests, greeting them, taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing table turnover, all while maintaining a clean and organized dining area within the restaurant's front-of-house operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and seating guests: Welcoming customers upon arrival and guiding them to their assigned table.
  • Taking orders: Accurately listening to customer requests and recording their food and beverage choices on the point-of-sale system.
  • Menu knowledge: Being familiar with the restaurant's menu, including ingredients, prices, and specials, to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
  • Serving food and drinks: Delivering orders promptly and correctly to tables, ensuring proper presentation.
  • Refilling beverages: Regularly checking on tables to refill water glasses and drinks as needed.
  • Addressing customer needs: Attending to customer requests, resolving any issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Table management: Maintaining cleanliness and order at tables, clearing plates, and resetting for new guests.
  • Payment processing: Presenting the bill to customers, accurately handling cash or credit card transactions, and providing change.
  • Communication with kitchen: Clearly communicating customer orders to the kitchen staff and relaying any special instructions.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other FOH staff like bussers and bartenders to ensure smooth service.

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management or any equivalent field.
  • Has previous experience in any Food and Beverage industry.
  • Able to handle pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industry.
  • Has good interpersonal relationship.
  • Good team player.
  • Amenable to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Willing to be assigned in Greenhills, San Juan City.
