Job Description

To provide excellent customer service, handle front-of-house operations, process customer orders accurately, and maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the service area. The role includes working at the counter, operating the POS system, and assisting with basic food preparation and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Take customer orders accurately and suggest upsells (combos, add-ons, etc.).

Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and promotions.

Handle customer complaints and queries politely and efficiently.

  1. Cashiering Duties

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash, card, and digital payments.

Issue receipts and return correct change.

Balance cash drawer and sales at the end of the shift.

Follow company policies for refunds, discounts, and void transactions.

  1. Store Maintenance & Cleanliness

Ensure front-of-house, counters, tables, and self-service areas are clean and well-organized.

Maintain cleanliness of equipment (e.g., soda machine, display counter).

Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

  1. Support Store Operations

Assist in packaging food and drinks for dine-in or takeaway.

Monitor inventory levels for disposables (cups, straws, napkins, etc.) and restock as needed.

Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.

  1. Teamwork

Coordinate with kitchen staff and delivery crew to ensure timely order preparation.

Support fellow team members during busy periods or when understaffed.

Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications:

Essential:

High school graduate or equivalent

Basic computer/POS system literacy

Preferred:

Prior experience in food service, cashiering, or retail (advantageous but not required)

Basic understanding of food safety standards

Performance Indicators:

Order accuracy rate

Customer satisfaction (feedback, reviews)

Average transaction time

Cleanliness and upkeep of service area

Attendance and punctuality
