Educational Background
  • Graduate of Electrical Technology, Electrical Installation & Maintenance, or related field.
  • TESDA Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II or NC III (highly preferred).
  • Additional training or certification in generator systems is an advantage.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge in installation, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of generators (diesel or gas).
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on generators: oil changes, filter replacement, battery checks, load tests.
  • Skilled in diagnosing electrical faults in control panels, ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), and power distribution systems.
  • Can read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and wiring schematics.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical wiring, grounding, load balancing, and circuit protection.
  • Experience handling electrical tools, testing devices, and safety equipment.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and basic load computations.
Work Experience
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as an electrician or generator technician.
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of building electrical systems is an advantage.
  • Exposure to industrial, commercial, or construction site work preferred.
Safety & Compliance
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures, PPE use, and lock-out/tag-out protocols.
  • Knowledge of local electrical standards and regulations.
  • Ability to ensure safe operation of generators during emergencies or power outages.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in electrical work.
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially during urgent repairs or power failures.
