Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures according to codes and specifications.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Diagnose electrical issues and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Perform preventive maintenance and document all electrical work performed.
- Adhere to local and national electrical codes, as well as company safety procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades as needed.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe and working order.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- Valid Electrician's License or Journeyman Certification (as required by state or local regulations).
- years of experience as an electrician in [residential/commercial/industrial] settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety codes (e.g., NEC).
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex electrical problems.

Working Conditions
