Your Role at a Glance

Be part of our client's team as a Staff Accountant, where you will support daily accounting operations, assist with month-end close, maintain accurate financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, and provide insightful financial analysis to ensure smooth and precise healthcare finance operations.

What You Bring to the Team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (internship experience accepted)
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) preferred
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-growth environment

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries, including month-end accruals, prepaids, reclasses, and fixed asset transactions
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including daily bank reconciliations, and investigate variances as needed
• Manage accounts payable: process vendor invoices, ensure appropriate coding, and support timely payment execution
• Support accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up
• Perform monthly P&L and balance sheet flux analysis and provide clear, insightful commentary
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, internal schedules, and documentation required for audits and tax filings
• Support quarterly reviews and the annual external audit with timely and complete deliverables
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business drivers and ensure financial accuracy
• Assist with ad hoc analysis, process improvement initiatives, and other special projects as assigned
• Help identify and implement improvements in internal processes, systems, and reporting workflows
