Job Requirement / Qualifications:

· Bachelor's/College degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.

· years' experience in manufacturing or production operations or a related field.

· Experience in international procurement is an advantage.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills in multicultural environments.

· Strong negotiation skills with suppliers.

· Excellent coordination, monitoring, and organizational skills.

· Resourceful, honest, and trustworthy.

· Proficient in using MS Office applications.

· Fluent in English communication (both verbal and written).

Key Responsibilities:

· Research and identify potential vendors.

· Develop and manage supply chain processes.

· Evaluate vendor offers and negotiate for better pricing and contracts (RFI, RFP, & RFQ).

· Process purchase orders and coordinate timely deliveries.

· Maintain regular communication with suppliers.

· Monitor and track the status of all orders.

· Organize and prioritize items based on urgency.

· Review deliveries against purchase orders. Check and compare quality, quantity, and pricing of goods.

· Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure products arrive in good condition and ensure materials meet specifications.

· Handle issues related to under-orders, over-orders, and damaged goods, and liaise with vendors for resolution.

· Ensure invoices are forwarded to accounts for payment and follow-up with vendors on payment status.

· Generate and analyze reports to determine procurement needs and share findings with superiors.

· Perform other related tasks as assigned.

General/ Ad-hoc Responsibilities:

· Research materials and suppliers.

· Conduct canvassing and request quotations.

· Negotiate pricing with suppliers.

· Update Bill of Materials (PM Tracker)
