The General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading BlackCoders, Inc. (BCGI), its overall sales, strategy, and growth. The GM oversees the performance of sales, IT operations, technical, support teams, and ensures delivery of the company's annual sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Growth
- Lead and monitor the sales team to ensure sales quota are met and lead all sales and business development efforts to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for IT products, solutions, and services.
- Identify and pursue new market segments, technologies, and solutions.
- Build relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and distributors.
- Manage client acquisition, retention, and relationship development.
- Identify and pursue new market segments, technologies, and solutions.
- Oversee pricing proposals, bids, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure timely submission of sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Formulate the Company's short and long-term strategies.
- Diagnose sales challenges including competitors, products, sales skills.
- Align resources with market opportunities and organizational goals.
- Identify new markets, technology partnerships, and revenue streams.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across sales, projects, finance, technical support, and administration.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
- Lead cross-functional alignment to streamline business processes.
- Maintain effective IT and business operations aligned with industry best practices.
Financial Management
· Oversee company P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting.
· Control costs and optimize resource utilization.
· Ensure profitability and cost control across all departments.
· Develop annual budgets and monitor financial performance (P&L responsibility).
· Review receivables and ensure healthy cash flow.
Team Leadership and Development
· Build and lead a high-performing leadership team.
· Set/Follow performance standards, conduct reviews, and ensure employee development.
· Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
· Set company goals, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives.
· Lead digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Represent the Company in strategic partnerships, industry events, and vendor negotiations.
Product & Solutions Oversight
· Keep abreast of IT trends (e.g., cloud, cybersecurity, networking, AI).
· Guide solution design and service portfolio updates.
· Approve technical solution proposals and customer presentations for critical accounts.
Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure company compliance with regulatory, licensing, and cybersecurity requirements.
· Identify and mitigate business, financial, and operational risks.
Reporting & Communication
· Regularly report to the Executives on sales performance, project status, financial results, and key issues.
· Facilitate management and department meetings.
· Provide data-driven updates Company performance and opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development
· Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across sales, technical, and support departments.
· Promote the Company Buddy System.
· Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
· Foster a results-driven and collaborative company culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- MBA or Master's in Business Management or Strategy (preferred)
- Minimum 8–10 years of leadership experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, preferably exposure in IT Company with P&L ownership
- Proven experience in sales leadership with a strong track record of meeting sales targets
- Experience in managing IT solutions such as infrastructure, integration, cloud services, enterprise software, or managed services
