Associate Business Intelligence Developer

We are looking for an Associate Business Intelligence Developer to join our Business Insights and Analytics team at MBPS. In this role, you will collaborate closely to the business and technical teams, will be responsible for transforming the data into insights, recommend appropriate visualizations using Power BI, and implement innovative solutions to improve data driven decisions based on the business needs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Be partnered with end-users, product owners & data engineers to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions (dashboard & interactive reporting tools on key business measures)
• Work directly with business stakeholders and translate business data needs into technical requirements, design, and implementation thru data visualization.
• Develop, Test and Maintain BI Dashboard to high standards of quality and performance using the company approved technologies. (e.g. Power BI , Microsoft Power Platform, Qlik).
• To utilize UI/UX best practices to craft visualizations that create a single, aligned version of truth, present clear information about business results & call for action.
• Responsible on training and/or assisting the Reporting Team on optimizing their reports. And implement best practices to ensure the quality and consistency of the solutions.
• Flexible on working with low to high complex projects with a possibility on utilizing multiple BI tool for each solutions.
• To be able to provide and maintain user accesses, report connections and troubleshooting by navigating to the management consoles or workspaces.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree on Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or any relevant field with Business Intelligence
• With atleast 1-year hands-on experience on developing BI solutions preferably with Power BI, QlikView, or Qliksense.
• Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
• Day/Mid/Night Shift. Amenability to work on the assigned schedule (dependent on business need)
• Experienced with BI technologies (e.g., Power BI, Qlikview, QlikSense,)
• Proficient in Data Modelling and Data Model normalization
• Knowledgeable with the ETL methodology.
• Knowledgeable in developing solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
• Accustomed on utilizing relational databases (Azure, MS SQL, Oracle) and Business Intelligence area.
• Understanding of design and development tools, SDLC methodologies and techniques, preferred
• Curiosity and analytical mindset – ability to ask the right questions and propose solutions. With strong evidence of being able to transform data into actionable insights.
• Familiar on working in Agile (SCRUM) is an advantage.
• Well-versed on Project management is preferred.
• Competent data storytelling and visualization – practiced creating solutions which aligns not only with the business requirements but as well as the company's branding.
• Manifest finesse with customer management and project administration.
• Outstanding communication skills for both written and verbal.
