Job Summary

Conceptualize and create innovative display that will engage and capture consumer interest. Supports selling by creating an exciting display that will assist the customer in making a buying decision within the store. Oversees proper implementation of display and ticketing standards to ensure that brand image of each store is projected at all times.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Visual Merchandising:

  • Plans and designs in-store display for all stores
  • Show window and highlight area displays for Sale, Events, Category Programs and Storewide Promotions
  • Thematic display of store focal points
  • Recommends new display and Visual Merchandising trends based on exhibits/shows, new industry trend etc.
  • Accurately prepares and submits weekly progress report on all stores serve to ensure diligent monitoring

Quality Assurance:

  • Provides orientation/on-ground training for new store hires and periodic refresher for present store associates of each store on proper use and application of display and visual standards
  • Regularly visits stores to conduct ocular inspections and submits audit reports to ensure compliance to display and standards

Support Services:

  • Provided support to different departments on assigned strategic business unit, to facilitate smooth flow of operations and timely implementation of initiatives
  • Provides support to any activity related to/participated by marketing external or internal to the organization

Inventory Management:

  • Keeps an updated inventory of all Visual Merchandising materials – All display materials/accessories and reusable point-of-purchase signage (i.e. Mannequins, L-stands, Acrylic holders, POP, A-boards, Podium etc.) at store level and prepares recommendations for replacement, improvement and/or replenishment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1-year work experience in visual merchandising is needed.
  • Work experience specializing in Art and Graphic Design or equivalent is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree, any field.
  • Highly creative and artistic.
  • Strong effective communicator.
  • With teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning.
  • Able to accept constructive criticisms.
  • Demonstrate effectiveness in holding conversations with customers and suppliers.
  • Expert in project management.
  • Has a good decision-making skill
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
