L2 Service Desk Engineer
Position Summary
The L2 Service Desk Engineer provides advanced second-level support and backend infrastructure assistance. This role involves resolving complex technical issues related to desktops, servers, networks, and applications, while also guiding and supporting the service desk team.
This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing SMB network environments and consistently delivers exceptional end-user support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or undergraduate with at least 5 years of IT experience
- 4–5 years supporting US/EMEA/AUS clients
- Experience working with international teams
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Technical Requirements
*Proficient in:
- Active Directory and Office 365 administration
- Windows 10 troubleshooting and support
- Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, RDS, FNP)
- Application support and root cause analysis
- Basic Azure knowledge
- Network fundamentals (Firewalls, Switches, ISPs)
- Backup systems, VMware, and Hyper-V
*Experience with Incident and Trend Analysis
