About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team at FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION (FORMERLY SANKO FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION'). In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing excellent email and chat-based customer support to our TikTok Shop US customers, ensuring their queries are resolved efficiently and effectively.

What you'll be doing

  1. Responding to customer inquiries via email and chat, providing timely and accurate information to address their needs
  2. Assisting customers with order-related issues, returns, and other product-related concerns
  3. Troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to enhance the customer experience
  4. Documenting customer interactions and maintaining detailed records of support activities
  5. Identifying trends and patterns in customer feedback to help improve our products and services
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or call centre role, ideally in the e-commerce or retail industry
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English
  3. Ability to multitask, prioritise and remain calm under pressure
  4. Proficient in using customer support tools and software
  5. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  6. Passion for providing exceptional customer service and going the extra mile
