Payroll Assistant

- End-to-end payroll management — validating timesheets, computing salaries, allowances, deductions, and ensuring timely disbursement.
- Prepare payroll journal entries, reconcile payroll accounts, generate summaries, and support audits.
- Provide labor cost breakdowns for billing, align expenses with forecasts, and reconcile payroll charges.
- Compute and release final pay (salaries, unused leave, 13th month, deductions) with proper clearance.
- Prepare and reconcile SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG contributions, BIR reports, and ensure tax law compliance.
Support month/year-end closing, assist in audits, improve systems and controls, and perform other related tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Certifications (Payroll NC III, CPA, HRIS training) are a plus.
- At least 1 year in payroll operations, preferably in mid- to large-scale organizations.
- Strong background in government remittances, tax reporting, and final pay processing.
- Experience collaborating across HR, Finance, and external agencies; audit preparation is an advantage.
- Proficiency in payroll systems/HRIS (SAP, Oracle, Workday, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.).
- Familiarity with government portals (BIR eFPS, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Solid knowledge of payroll accounting and labor/tax laws.
