IT Procurement Specialist

Schedule: Monday- Friday (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT)

What will you do?

● Contract Lifecycle Management: Proactively manage the portfolio of IT

contracts, ensuring timely renewals, and negotiating favourable terms,

conditions, and pricing with new and existing vendors.

● Spend Optimization: Continuously analyze IT expenditure, identify

cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize the

value received from our technology investments without compromising

quality or performance.

● Vendor Negotiation: Lead commercial and contractual negotiations

with IT suppliers for hardware, software, and services, ensuring

agreements meet business requirements and compliance standards.

● DORA Compliance & Third-Party Governance:

○ Support the company's DORA compliance program to manage

third-party IT risk by identifying and sourcing backup or

alternative providers to ensure redundancy and business

continuity for critical services.

○ Ensure vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk

Indicators (KRIs) are explicitly recorded in contracts to help

measure service level agreements (SLAs) and manage risks

effectively.

○ Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and audits.

● Market Analysis: Stay current with market trends, pricing models, and

emerging technologies to inform procurement strategies and identify

potential new suppliers.

● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and

other business units to understand their technology requirements,

provide procurement expertise, and ensure a seamless procurement

process.

● Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of contracts,

vendor interactions, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports

on IT spend, savings, and vendor performance for senior management

What are we looking for?

● A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

● Vendor administrator certifications such as Okta, Google, Microsoft etc.

will be advantageous

● Proven Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT

procurement, sourcing, or vendor management role.

● Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated track record of successfully

negotiating complex IT contracts and achieving significant cost savings.

● Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of third-party risk

management principles. Experience with DORA, NIS2, or similar

financial/operational resilience regulations is highly desirable.

● Analytical Mindset: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with

the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed

decisions.

● Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills,

capable of building effective relationships with internal stakeholders

and external vendors.

● Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of IT terminology, including

hardware, software licensing models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), and

professional services.
