WSP, a world leading management and consultancy firm, is seeking Architect to join their Property and Buildings Supervision Team. The fast-paced firm is rapidly expanding, and this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team of Bridge design and drafting experts who will support your growth and development.

What you'll do:

To be capable of undertaking the following but not limited to:

  1. Review design and assist in co-ordination with other disciplines to ensure constructability.

  2. Accountable to Resident Engineer/Senior Architect. Acting as Senior Architect as and when required.

  3. Review and respond to contractor submissions in a timely manner.

  4. Prepare responses to RFI's in a timely manner.

  5. Provide all necessary on-site directions and issue site instructions.

  6. Ensure all material testing is carried out in accordance with the specification.

  7. Monitor maintenance of QA documentation and associated registers.

  8. Manage and monitor architectural site staff.

  9. Assisting site inspection staff & CAD works for the project team, in relation to the authority's submission for

the project.

  1. Attend inspections with authorities & site staff

  2. Prepare monthly reports progress vs. programme, identifying outstanding approvals and future issues to be

addressed.

  1. Providing technical advice to the Resident Engineer with respect to the assigned work on the project.

  1. Observe site safety and issue notices as appropriate.

  2. Report to Resident Engineer, Senior Architect and update on issues as required.

  3. Participate in contract administration.

  4. Participate in planning and risk identification.

  5. Ensure accuracy and completeness of records, including As-Built documentation.

  6. Prepare documentation for the completed work for client Handover.

What we will love about you

  • Diploma of Architecture
  • At least seven to ten years of relevant experience
  • With extensive knowledge of Architectural supervision
  • In depth knowledge of BS/International design standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to identify innovative solutions to problems and obtain resolutions.
  • Ability to build team, organize staff and prioritize
  • Ability to work well within and manage a site-based team of mixed nationalities.
  • Experience in CAD and Microsoft applications, particularly word and excel.
  • Ability to build rapport with work colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Autocad and Revit an advantage
