The Officer-in-Charge (OIC) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a branch, department, or assigned unit in the absence of the regular manager or head. The OIC ensures smooth workflow, supervises staff, implements company policies, and maintains operational efficiency while safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit operational and financial reports to management.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of branch facilities, equipment, and records.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as reports, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Implement and enforce company rules, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker in the absence of higher management.
  • Coordinate with other departments for operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in supervisory or leadership roles, preferably in retail, logistics, or service industry.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of branch operations, sales, and customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting.
  • Trustworthy, results-driven, and capable of handling confidential information.
