RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Process Review

  • Conducts process reviews in various areas of operations, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to effectively address existing and possible issues
  • Assists in the facilitation of meetings to discuss process review results including process performance, observations, and recommendations
  • Develops concept solutions and design detailed processes with the end goal of improving efficiency and reducing costs
  • Identifies other opportunities for innovation and help develop and implement a program to encourage innovative environment

Strategic Planning - Data Gathering, Analysis and Strategy Formulation

  • Ensures timely review of BSC and ASOP prior to approval
  • Maintains database on challenges and objectives through Mancom meetings
  • Assists departments in developing operational strategies and identifying high impact initiatives
  • Assists in the review of departmental objectives and check if aligned to corporate objectives
  • Conducts cost benefit analysis in collaboration with Finance Department and/or Operations for big ticket projects

Risk Management

  • Identifies risks that may impact the organization's long-term goals, strategic initiatives, and overall market position, including economic, technological, competitive, and regulatory risks
  • Conducts comprehensive analysis of the external and internal environment to identify emerging trends and disruptions that could pose strategic risks to the organization
  • Develops scenario analyses to evaluate the potential impact of various risk factors on strategic objectives and guide decision-making under uncertainty
  • Assesses the likelihood and impact of strategic risks, categorizing them based on urgency and alignment with business priorities
  • Assists in integrating risk management into the strategic planning process to ensure alignment between risk mitigation activities and the organization's vision, mission, and goals
  • Promotes a culture of proactive risk awareness within the organization, emphasizing the importance of addressing strategic risks in day-to-day decision-making

Digital Solutions and Vendor Engagement

  • Conducts research on new and available solutions in the market, coordinate with vendors, and schedule product demo sessions with internal stakeholders
  • Communicates with vendors all identified business requirements, solicit recommendation on available solutions, clarify any gaps on existing functionalities of proposed solutions, and request price quotation
  • Formulates appropriate evaluation criteria in coordination with process owners and in consideration of the capabilities identified in the Business Capability Model and conduct timely evaluation of solutions being considered for procurement
  • Prepares cost benefit analysis and cost comparative analysis on various solutions being considered in preparation for procurement and develop recommendations
  • Coordinates with consultant, vendors, manage contracts, and ensure timely payment based on completion of milestones

Data Analytics and Business Process Improvement

  • Help various units in gathering, organizing, and validating data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and relevance for process analysis and decision-making
  • Leverage data analytics techniques to pinpoint the root causes of process issues and recommend actionable solutions
  • Performs "what-if" analysis and simulations to assess the impact of proposed changes on process performance and outcomes
  • Uses analytics to identify opportunities for automation and digitization within business processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
  • Post-graduate degree or credits an advantage.
  • At least 2 years combined experience in corporate planning, financial planning and analysis and business process improvement.
  • Can analyze, and interpret external trends, developments, and events within a specific industry.
  • Has an understanding of how businesses operate, including financial principles, market dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Uses a creative and strategic approach aimed at generating significant, transformative ideas and solutions that fundamentally change existing paradigms, processes, or products.
  • Able to plan, execute, and oversee projects effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Works effectively with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
