I. General Description

The Inventory Staff is the one that manages and maintains all inventory, parts or products housed in a warehouse or storage rooms. They are responsible to count the materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock. Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.

II. Detailed Function

  • Receive, unpack, and organize incoming inventory items.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with records.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking as necessary.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and theft.
  • Enter inventory data into inventory database.
  • Generate barcode upon inbounding product data to the inventory database.
  • Generate and maintain detailed reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and related activities.
  • Keep records of damaged, defective, or expired items and coordinate their disposal or return.
  • Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with other departments to forecast demand and coordinate stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure products are available to meet customer needs and demands.
  • Work closely with the sales team to optimize procurement processes.
  • Organize inventory storage areas for efficient space utilization.
  • Rotate stock and manage the First-in, First-out (FIFO) system to prevent product expiration.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the inventory storage areas.
  • Inspect incoming inventory for quality and accuracy.
  • Report and quarantine defective or substandard items.
  • Ensure that products meet quality standards before being added to the inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
  • Address stock-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Responsible to test the products before shipping them out.

III. Qualifications

  • At least High School Graduate (Vocational/College level is an advantage).
  • With at least 1 year of relevant work experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related field.
  • Knowledge in inventory systems and databases is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, organizing, and moving stock.
  • Basic understanding of FIFO method and stock rotation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to work with different departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stock-related issues promptly.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and integrity in handling company assets.
  • Willing to work in Valenzuela City and follow company policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php695.00 per day
