Production Manager

- Oversee daily food production activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Ensure products are manufactured on time and within quality and cost objectives.
- Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety protocols.
- Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.
- Lead, train, and supervise production staff to promote productivity, safety, and teamwork.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams.
- Monitor raw material and packaging inventory in coordination with the supply chain team.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are in good working condition; coordinate preventive maintenance with the engineering department.
- Enforce strict compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Analyze production data, prepare reports, and present performance metrics to management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, systems, and employee performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in food technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
