Job Summary

The Production Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Production Department. This role ensures accurate recording, monitoring, and reporting of production activities, including job status and work-in-process (WIP) to support smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and update daily production reports and work-in-process (WIP) statuses
  • Monitor and update the whereabouts and progress of production items, particularly in the Painting Department
  • Maintain accurate production logs, job orders, and tracking sheets
  • Encode, verify, and file production data such as quantities, completion status, and delays
  • Coordinate with supervisors and operators to ensure accurate real-time updates
  • Prepare basic production summaries and reports for management review
  • Assist in tracking materials issued and returned during production
  • Ensure all production records are complete, accurate, and well-organized
  • Support compliance with production procedures and documentation standards

Qualifications

  • At least Senior High School graduate; vocational or college-level education is an advantage
  • Experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing clerical role
  • Basic knowledge of production processes (painting or finishing is an advantage)
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
