Position Overview

The Senior Architect will be responsible for overseeing architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality, functionality, and compliance. This role involves managing the design process, performing QA/QC on all deliverables, coordinating with engineers and consultants, and providing leadership to the design and construction teams. The Senior Architect will act as a key decision-maker in both creative and technical aspects of each project.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Leadership


• Oversee projects from schematic design to construction completion.


• Lead coordination between in-house teams, clients, and consultants.


• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  1. Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)


• Review and approve schematic designs, 3D visualizations, and working drawings.


• Check compliance of plans with building codes, zoning regulations, and client requirements.


• Conduct detailed QA/QC checks for architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing-sanitary plans.

  1. Design & Technical Oversight


• Provide design direction and ensure alignment with the firm's design standards and branding.


• Collaborate with structural, MEP, and other consultants for integrated solutions.


• Troubleshoot design and technical issues during the construction phase.

  1. Client & Stakeholder Management


• Attend client meetings and presentations.


• Interpret client needs and translate them into functional and aesthetic design solutions.


• Maintain clear communication between all project stakeholders.

  1. Site Visits


• Conduct site visits for meetings, inspections, and verification of work progress.


• Ensure construction works align with approved drawings and specifications.


• Provide on-site guidance to resolve technical or design-related concerns.

  1. Team Mentorship & Supervision


• Mentor junior architects and designers to improve skills and productivity.


• Assign tasks and review work outputs for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications


• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; PRC-licensed Architect.


• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in both design and construction project management.


• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality designs and completed projects.


• Proficient in: AutoCAD, SketchUp, D5 Render, and 3ds Max.


• Familiar with local building codes, permitting processes, and construction standards.


• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
