SENIOR ARCHITECT is responsible from conceptual development and liaising with the

stakeholders to managing and executing the design.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaising with Managing Director, Design Principal, Operations, Clients, Consultants, Contractors, Vendor / Suppliers, and other employees / departments (where appropriate).
  • Overseeing the assigned Interior Design Projects (overall, including adaptation of budget and adherence to timelines).
  • Overseeing the design for a client and ensuring that the design fits within the Client's expectations and requirements.
  • Maintaining the Project's overall design direction and aesthetic.
  • Managing the delivery and deliverables of the Project.
  • Managing and mentoring more junior design staff.
  • Responsible in the effective presentation of design proposals to the client.
  • Assist in the preparation of preparation of Professional Design Contract Proposals for Interior Design Projects.
  • To seek continuing professional development. Research and update on latest industry standards, innovations, and best practices
  • Assist in the production of contract documents, specifications and other documents relating to project.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations; to include renderings and material boards / mood boards.
  • Selecting and presenting all Furnishing and Materials for approval of the Principal and the client.
  • Reviewing of Project documents including drawings sketches schedules and specifications.
  • Responsible for Project team and resources.
  • Maintaining project files.
  • To contribute or otherwise assist as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture
  • Must be a Licensed Architect

Minimum Experience/Training

  • Must have 5 years of relevant experience in Interior and Architecture Design - Mainly in Corporate Office fit-out Projects

Competency

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and self- starter
  • Programming abilities to extract information and produce reports
  • Knowledge of building and accessible codes
