Job Title: Telemarketer Donor Support Representative

Job Summary:

The Donor Care Representative (Telemarketer) is responsible for handling donor interactions and managing donation-related requests via telephone, and helping ensure accurate donor records. This role involves making outbound calls to donors, addressing cancellation requests, offering alternative options, creating donor support cases/tickets in the CRM, and coordinating other day-to-day fundraising logistics in support of the core fundraising team. Additionally, the representative prepares official donation certificates and updates donor information in the database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle calls to donors regarding cancellation requests and actively offer them alternative options to prevent these donors from cancelling
  • Handle other fundraising calls to encourage donors to keep giving
  • Prepare and issue Certificates of Donation.
  • Accurately record and update donor data changes based on requests received during calls, ensuring coordination with the Database Management Unit. These are done through a case / ticket management system in the client's CRM
  • Provide excellent donor support and maintain positive donor relationships.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years' direct experience in customer service, donor relations, and/or fundraising. Having telemarketing experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. Must be fluent in English and Filipino—both oral and written.
  • Must have the ability to actively listen and comprehend donor requests over the phone and handle sensitive donor interactions professionally.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills essential to fostering team camaraderie and team work as well as for timely and relevant donor support
