About the Role

Playmate Leisure Solutions Corp. is looking for a highly skilled
HR Payroll Manager
who will oversee and manage the full payroll cycle, HR compliance, and employee compensation processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in
Mandarin
with our Chinese counterparts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Validate timesheets, attendance records, overtime, allowances, commissions, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR) and company policies.
  • Manage payroll reconciliation, financial reporting, and coordination with Accounting.
  • Maintain and update employee records, salary movements, and payroll adjustments.
  • Handle payroll audits, internal reviews, and documentation for compliance.
  • Monitor HR metrics related to compensation, payroll accuracy, and manpower.
  • Address payroll concerns or inquiries from employees in a professional, timely manner.
  • Act as the primary communicator with Chinese management; prepare reports and presentations in
    Mandarin
    when required.
  • Support HR functions related to compensation and benefits, employee relations, and policy implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum
    3–5 years
    experience in Payroll or HR Compensation roles; management experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of PH labor laws, compensation, tax computation, and government-mandated benefits.
  • Proficient in payroll systems and MS Excel.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written)
    – required.
  • Strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
