About the role

As a Graphic Designer at Huawei, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's marketing and communications efforts. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic retail initiatives of this leading global technology company.

Responsibilities:

This role is to be responsible for Retail design.

Retail Design:

• Conceptualization & Design: Translate creative briefs into visually compelling graphics for various campaigns, including social media, digital ads, and website visuals.
• Brand Consistency: Develop designs that align with the brand's visual identity, ensuring consistent use of colors, fonts, and tone across all digital and print materials.
• Static & Dynamic Content: Create engaging static and dynamic content for digital platforms, including but not limited to social media posts, banner ads, and promotional graphics.
• Brand Strategy & Execution: Demonstrate a strong grasp of the brand's tone, values, and messaging, and effectively integrate these into designs.
• Fast Turnaround & Deadlines: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously with quick turnaround times, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.

• Event Documentation: Capture high-quality photos and videos during product launches, events, and promotions, to showcase the brand's presence and engage the audience.

• Print & POSM Materials: Produce and localize existing print materials for retail use, such as Point-of-Sale Materials (POSMs), ensuring they are on-brand and effective for local markets.

• Promo Materials: Update and design promotional materials (monthly or seasonal) for retail displays and campaigns.
• LED & OOH Design: Create impactful designs for LED displays and Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising during product launches and seasonal promotions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a design studio, agency, or corporate environment, with a strong portfolio or reel showcasing your experience in branding, advertising, and multimedia design.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro.
• Versatility: Ability to work with a wide range of media types, from digital graphics to video and photography.
• Creative & Strategic Thinking: Skilled at translating design briefs into creative visual outcomes that meet strategic objectives. Has great attention to detail.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or lead a group. Comfortable coordinating across departments to achieve project goals.
• English Proficiency: Strong command of English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate design ideas and collaborate across teams, with locals and expats.
• Work Under Pressure: Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure, managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Photography & Video Skills: Knowledge of photography, video production, and editing for both digital and retail platforms.
• Copywriting Skills (a plus): Experience with copywriting or the ability to incorporate simple copy into your designs is a plus
