Role Description

The
Buyer
supports the procurement team by assisting with the purchasing of goods and services required by the company. This role involves communicating with suppliers, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate purchasing records.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in ordering products, materials, or services needed by the company.
  • Communicate with suppliers to get quotes, follow up on orders, and confirm delivery dates.
  • Help maintain records of purchases and deliveries.
  • Support the team in checking prices, comparing options, and looking for cost savings.
  • Work with other departments to understand what supplies or products are needed.
  • Help track inventory levels and make sure items are ordered on time.
  • Follow company guidelines when placing orders and dealing with suppliers.

Qualifications

  • A holder of Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Financial Management or equivalent
  • Open to recent graduates with background in Supply Chain
  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing/Procurement is an advantage
  • With excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Amenable to work in a hybrid set up at Quezon City
