Core Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Operation:

Safely operate a company vehicle to transport goods, materials, or passengers to various locations.
- Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct daily inspections for mechanical and safety issues, perform basic maintenance like checking fluids, and report any defects or required repairs.
- Logistics & Route Planning:

Plan and optimize efficient delivery routes, adhering to traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies to meet schedules.
- Loading & Unloading:

Supervise and assist in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are properly secured and handled carefully, especially fragile or heavy items.
- Documentation:

Manage and update delivery records, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logs of work periods.
- Compliance & Safety:

Strictly follow all company safety procedures, traffic rules, and regulatory requirements, including those related to vehicle weight and rest periods.

  • Excellent driving skills:

Proficient ability to operate the assigned vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Reliability and time management:

Punctual in making deliveries and managing time to meet delivery schedules.
- Strong communication skills:

Effectively communicate with logistics coordinators, dispatchers, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Physical fitness:

Ability to lift packages, get in and out of the vehicle, and navigate stairs as part of the delivery process.
- Customer service skills:

Professional demeanor when interacting with customers to ensure a positive experience.
