We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team for a solar farm development project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems used in the construction and operation of the solar farm. This role requires a strong understanding of power systems, renewable energy technologies, electrical safety, and grid integration.

  • Design and develop electrical systems and layouts for utility-scale solar PV installations.
  • Prepare and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring schematics, grounding, and cable routing plans.
  • Specify electrical components including inverters, transformers, switchgear, combiner boxes, and protection devices.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international electrical standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
  • Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Perform load calculations, fault current analysis, and grid interconnection studies.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, including BOQs, datasheets, and O&M manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during site work.
  • Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues during construction and operations.
  • Liaise with utility companies, EPC contractors, and equipment vendors as needed.
