Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise production line activities, ensuring efficient workflow and timely output.
  • Oversee and monitor daily production processes to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards (GMP, HACCP, etc.).
  • Maintain a clean and organized production environment that meets industry and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, HR) to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and manage raw material usage to minimize waste and optimize yield.
  • Ensure proper documentation of production outputs, incidents, downtimes, and shift activities.
  • Train and guide production staff on procedures, equipment handling, and safety protocols.
  • Address and resolve production issues, delays, or equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
  • Conduct routine inspections and participate in internal audits.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, Industrial Engineering, or any related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, food safety standards, and quality systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work in a shifting schedule and/or extended hours if required.
