About the role

As an Accounting Manager at OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc.', you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions. In this full-time position based in Makati City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to key stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies and procedures
  • Manage the accounts team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth auditing processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting systems
  • Minimum of 2-3 years managerial experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Trustworthy, attention to detail and able to detect inconsistencies.
  • Must have a positive working attitude and be highly organized.
