Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll spearhead lead generation, prospecting, and outreach to UK retailers and distributors. You'll play a key role in shaping market expansion, managing pipelines, and developing wholesale accounts while ensuring the brand's growth in the retail space.

Employment type: Project-based (6 months)

Shift: Mid shift, 20 hours per week

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in FMCG, pharmacy, or retail.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Previous exposure to the UK market is a big plus.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and building new relationships from scratch.
  • Organized and consistent with CRM or spreadsheet tracking.
  • Resilient, motivated, and target-driven.

Your Daily Tasks

  • Research and create prospect lists of UK retailers and distributors.
  • Make initial contact by email, LinkedIn, or phone and follow up on responses.
  • Explain product range and share wholesale information.
  • Track activity and manage the sales pipeline in Google Sheets/CRM.
  • Coordinate samples and quotes where needed.
  • Send weekly activity updates and reports.

What success looks like:

  • By the end of Month 1: Understand the brand and complete your first 100+ prospect list with active outreach underway.
  • By Month 3: Consistently reach weekly outreach targets, engage 4-6 strong prospects, and close your first wholesale accounts.
  • By Month 6: Develop 10+ ongoing wholesale customers and establish a repeatable process for growth.
