Position: Corporate HR Manager

Location: Cebu

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a Corporate HR Manager to lead the centralized HR function for a family-owned group with multiple operating companies in Cebu and General Santos. The role will drive strategic HR initiatives, establish governance and consistency across entities, and ensure compliance with Philippine labor regulations while supporting growth and succession objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Group HR Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement a group-wide HR strategy aligned with business objectives and family values.
  • Establish and enforce employment and conflict-of-interest policies.

Policy Development & Harmonization

  • Draft, review, and implement group HR policies covering employment, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary processes, remote work, data privacy, and code of conduct.
  • Standardize employment contracts, offer letters, and employee handbook content across entities, allowing for valid local differences.

Organization Design & Workforce Planning

  • Lead organizational design and workforce planning, including role architecture, grading, and career path frameworks.
  • Develop and oversee succession planning for key and family roles.

Talent Management & Development

  • Implement performance management systems, competency frameworks, and leadership development programs.
  • Support talent reviews and create structures to enable career mobility across group companies.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Oversight

  • Design and implement group compensation and benefits strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee payroll processes and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and separations in compliance with labor laws.
  • Champion initiatives that enhance engagement, communication, and a strong, values-driven culture.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Lead selection and implementation of HRIS for multi-entity management and analytics.
  • Generate regular HR dashboards and insights for leadership.

Stakeholder Management & Capacity Building

  • Partner closely with senior management and the owner-family on strategic people initiatives.
  • Build and mentor HR capability across subsidiary teams.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and external partners to ensure operational alignmen

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is an advantage).
  • At least 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in policy development, organizational design, and leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-entity or group-level HR functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with family-owned or multi-site organizations is preferred.
