Housekeeper Job Description

As a Housekeeping, you will be responsible for providing thorough and efficient cleaning services to residential or commercial properties. This position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate has cleaning experience, is detail-oriented, flexible, respectful and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out
  • Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service
  • Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to the supervisor
  • Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
  • Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
  • Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests
  • Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
  • Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
  • Notifying managers of necessary repairs.
  • Collecting and disposing of trash.
  • Assisting guests when necessary.
  • Keeping the linen room stocked.
  • Properly cleaning upholstered furniture.

Housekeeper Requirements:

  • NCII Tesda passers, Undergrad, High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to lift push/pull at least 35 lbs.
  • Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, stretch, stand, sit, kneel or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate politely and effectively in English/Tagalog with customers, guests, and Management.
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently.
  • Work well unsupervised.
  • Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests.
  • Hard worker and Team player.
  • Must follow Management assignments, policies, and procedures.
  • Must consent to a background check.
  • Amenable in shifting schedule.
  • Can start ASAP.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php17, Php18,070.00 per month
