Job Summary: The HORECA Sales Rep. will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafes (HORECA) sector. This role requires a dynamic leader who can build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, analyze market trends, lead a high-performing sales team, and drive business growth in line with Gruppo Dolci's commitment to quality and partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies specifically for the HORECA sector, aligning with Gruppo Dolci's overall business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HORECA market, including prospecting potential clients and expanding the customer base.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, leveraging insights to refine sales approaches.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals tailored to the unique needs of HORECA clients.
- Negotiate and close new business contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential HORECA clients, fostering strong, lasting relationships built on trust and excellent service.
- Conduct regular visits to clients' premises to understand their evolving needs, provide product solutions, and address any concerns proactively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by offering personalized support and timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with clients to integrate Gruppo Dolci's products into their menus and offerings, showcasing the value and quality.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of HORECA sales representatives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to enhance the sales team's product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service capabilities.
- Set clear performance objectives, monitor individual and team performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and analyses for senior management, highlighting performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage customer interactions, sales pipelines, and performance metrics, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise closely with the Marketing team to coordinate promotional activities, develop marketing materials, and ensure alignment with market demands.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and address any supply chain challenges.
- Provide feedback to the Product Development team regarding customer preferences, market gaps, and new product ideas to inform innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) or Food Service industry.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the HORECA market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends in the Philippines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
- Demonstrated strong leadership, team management, and coaching abilities.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
