About the role

As a Billing & Collection specialist at the Borough Medical Care Institute Inc.', you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organisation. This full-time position is based in Pasay City Metro Manila, where you'll be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process and credit control, contributing to the overall financial health and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner
  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including following up on outstanding payments and resolving any billing discrepancies
  • Monitor and maintain client credit limits, assessing creditworthiness and implementing appropriate credit control measures
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records
  • Provide financial reports and analytical insights to support decision-making
  • Assist with the implementation of billing and collection policies and procedures
  • Liaise with clients to address any billing or payment-related queries

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience: At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or credit control within the accounting or healthcare industry
  • Strong financial acumen: Excellent numerical skills and the ability to analyse financial data and identify trends
  • Communication skills: Confident in communicating with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous in your work, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all financial records and reporting
  • Proficiency in relevant software: Comfortable using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant financial management tools
